Ruma Waru Matariki Poster

In Room 8 we made posters to create an awareness about Matariki. This year the Matariki celebration began on 28th of June. Matariki usually appears in winter. During Matariki people can do a lot of things such as celebrating, sharing kai and learning about the stars. Room 8 would like to share their work with you. With our Matariki posters we are also showcasing our information web we made during reading activities.

Book Week 2014

Room 8 joined the rest of the school to celebrate Book Week in style. They read books, coloured posters, bought books, read to their buddies, took part in scavenger hunt, and finished the week with a colourful character parade in the school hall. Have look at Room 8 celebrating Book Week 2014.
