Swimming

On February 22nd, Linley from swim safe Auckland came in to teach us how to be safe in and around water. Next week we are going to swimming lessons at Dean Greenwood swim school. We have been having loads of fun in the school pool and can't wait for our lessons.

Maori

We have been looking at greetings in Maori. To ask how someone is we say "Ke te pehea koe?" which means ' how are you? On our wall we have different feelings in Maori. Everyone is able to move their name to how they feel

Wera - Hot

Harikoa - Happy

Pai - Happy 

Pouri - Sad

Riri - Angry

Mauiui - Sick 

Hiakai- Hungry 

Makariri - Cold

Hiamoe - Sleepy 

Lenten promises

We have been talking about Lent. We all made our Lenten promises and wrote them on a love heart. We will try our best to keep these for all of Lent and also afterwards
