Week Two - By Aisling and Miranda

              Bucket filling

Everybody carry’s an invisible bucket. It fills when you are happy, it empty’s when you’re sad.  Room 8 has their own buckets - this is how it works: Someone is nice to you they tell Miss O’Neil and miss O’Neil puts a pompom in their bucket to show that they have been a bucket filler. Here is a picture

Waitangi day

Waitangi day is a special day for all New Zealanders. We had a day off on Tuesday to celebrate this special day. The treaty of Waitangi is kept in Wellington. The Maori and British people wanted to make an agreement to share New Zealand. The treaty was translated from English to Maori. The treaty was saved from a fire by a man named George Elliot.
