Ruma Waru Matariki Poster

In Room 8 we made posters to create an awareness about Matariki. This year the Matariki celebration began on 28th of June. Matariki usually appears in winter. During Matariki people can do a lot of things such as celebrating, sharing kai and learning about the stars. Room 8 would like to share their work with you. With our Matariki posters we are also showcasing our information web we made during reading activities.

How to make Paper? Birds Reading Group Room 8

In our reading group we read an article about  how to make paper, for our activity we decided to make our own paper. It was fun and exciting learning how to make paper. The papers we made were really cool.
