This what some of them came up with. Gina made a Marble Lego Maze, Ben made a Pipe Lego Maze, Siena Hannay made Marble Rush Maze, Rex made Pipe Maze and Taylor Fill made a game board. They all brought their creative games and show cased it in class. Have a look at their display.
Rex's Pipe Maze
How we made the pipe maze
You need: cardboard tubes / lots of sticky tape / a serrated
kitchen knife / a big marble / two
pieces of flat cardboard / and a pen.
Instructions:
Step 1: make a 45 degree cut in the cardboard tube, to create
mitred corner. Step 2: join the pipes together using the sticky tape
Step 3: use your imagination to create a cool maze
Step 4: make cardboard saying enter and exit so people will
know where to start and finish
Step 5: get a marble and try it out in the maze
HINT: use your ears and hands to figure out where the marble
is
Ben's Lego Maze
I have made a Lego Pipe Maze. There are 3 ways to get in
and out of the game. Sometimes it gets tricky because the
marble rolls around very fast.
Gina's Marble Rush
I made this Marble Maze because it was a Homework challenge.
I made it with different coloured Lego bricks, a Lego base board and a marble
The bit I found most hard was finding enough bricks to complete the Maze. I enjoyed making it and had lots of fun playing it with other friends in Ruma Waru.
Siena's Marble Rush
I used Lego boards and bricks to make this simple and
enjoyable game.
